I'm back after a little break, I had to lock in for my college exams but now there over I can focus back on this fun little hobby. This I'd even consider a major devlog as the actual YouTube side of the game is now functional! It's obviously still bare bones in terms of features but now when you upload a video you will actually start to gain views and subscribers.



This funky little page is the YouTube app, here you can see your subscribers, views, earnings, most viewed video and what monetization strategy you currently have in place. At the minute the only functional part of this app is the subscribers graph (measures total subs overtime) and the views graph (measures views per day) but I decided to fill out the page anyway just for a proof of concept for these features. Probably the most interesting feature that will be added is the monetization strategy, obviously the more ads you force upon your viewers the less views you will receive and vice versa, and the most viewed video feature gives us a nice way to see a prime example of your channels success. I plan to add these in the next update (V0.05) as well as any other unadded base features so I can then release a prototype to you, my dear reader, to start gathering feed back and weeding out any bugs before I start building on them. I haven't really thought of a date but keep a look out for it as it'll probably take a month or two.
